I am beyond thrilled to add to the collection this truly breathtaking and super rare original 1950s gold polka ball gown / wedding dress from acclaimed British designer label FRANK USHER London and sold by Cardiffs POTTER GILMORE.

An absolute treasure at 60+ years old and in superb vintage condition. A museum worthy piece, which would make for the most sensational New Year's Ball gown, or better still vintage wedding dress. ❤️

This is an example of the FRANK USHER label at its finest, in its most collectible era. Astounding quality and cut. Full inbuilt corset with cups with metal zipper. Second outer metal zipper. I've also researched the supplier POTTER GILMORE and found evidence of them supplying wedding attire as early as 1930s and going onto liquidation in 1966. I even found one of their suits on the front cover of the British VOGUE 1959 edition!! 1930s wedding dresses

And just check out that sensational tiered detachable bustle train!!!

As noted above this piece is in excellent vintage condition, with no significant damage. There is the odd small mark here or there but nothing at all too noticeable. It's a gem!
